Animals

I've always loved to photograph animals as they are so different in size, shapes and attitude. Animals in the wild are a great challenge to catch an image that show their true nature.

Bird Chorus

Back in 1971, I made a project of depicting birds on telephone wires. They were created purely from my imagination. Here are some of the images I made during that period.

Black and White

I developed my first roll of film and made black and white contact prints at the age of twelve in a cellar coal bin, and never tire of the medium. It captures the depth of tones better than color photographs.

California Missions

Back in 1980, my wife Sylvia and I traveled up and down the California coastline to photograph all the California Missions, large or small, as they were like rare jewels from yesteryear.

Cape Cod

My wife Sylvia and I fell in love with Cape Cod many moons ago and in 1972, permanently retired here. I've generated some of my best images here and continue to discover more gems each season.

Computer Graphics and Derivations

Taking a photograph beyond reality and creating a new contemporary image with computer software has always fascinated me, as it then makes it my original creation. The variety is endless, depending only on your imagination.

Flowers

I always loved taking photographs of Nature's most colorful creations. Their beauty is unsurpassed and their variety is endless. My favorite species are the Roses for their variety of color and design.

Honors-Trophies-Ribbons

I have a collection of trophies, prize ribbons and honor certificates that cover the past 60 years of my photographic life. These were issued by the Photographic Society of America (PSA), many camera clubs, photo salon exhibitions and photo contests.

Jenne Farm, Reading, VT

Known as the most photographed farm in the world, hundreds of photographers from all over the world come every year to shoot this amazing rural composition. For 50 years, I came here to shoot great images when the conditions were perfect.

Landscapes

I have always been fascinated by the beauty that Mother Nature gave us on such a large scale, and the variety of her creations. It has been one of the joys of my life to be able to photograph them.

Lighthouses

The variety of the beacons of the sea in New England gave me the chance to create beautiful photographs of these life-saving monuments. Some are dated back to the 1700's.

National Parks

Our national parks comprise some of the most beautiful locations for photography. Sylvia and I had the pleasure to visit many of them on our cross-country tour in 1980. Each one has its own charm and personality.

Portraits

I started taking portraits in my basement photo studio when I was fifteen years old, back in 1931. Many of them have won trophies and prices in local and worldwide photo exhibitions.

Seascapes

Living near the ever-changing scene of the ocean gave me a chance to capture a variety of beautiful images along the New England coastline.

Still Life Photography

At my age and with limited mobility, still life is the easiest creative photography for me. I first tried this type of photography in the fall of 2010 and am very happy with the results.

Vermont

Vermont has been one of my very favorite locations for photography for the past 50 years, especially in the fall and winter months. This gallery contains some of the best images I made in my numerous visits to the beautiful Green Mountain state.
